Statement of Informed Consent

Statement of Informed Consent
Authors submitting manuscripts to the International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Holistic Development (IJPESHD) are required to uphold the highest ethical standards in the design, conduct, and reporting of their research. Submission to this journal affirms that the study was conducted with integrity, respecting all applicable ethical guidelines, particularly in research involving human participants in physical education, sports, wellness, and related fields.

Informed Participation
In all research involving human subjects—such as athletes, students, coaches, or community participants—explicit informed consent must be obtained prior to data collection. Participants should be clearly informed about the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks and benefits, and their right to voluntarily participate or withdraw at any stage without facing any negative consequences.

Confidentiality and Privacy
Authors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of all participant data. Personally identifiable information must not be published unless written permission has been obtained. Anonymity must be preserved wherever possible, and sensitive data should be handled with the utmost care to protect the dignity and rights of the participants.

Ethical Oversight
Where applicable, studies involving human subjects must receive approval from an institutional ethics committee or relevant review board. The name of the ethics body and approval number must be stated in the manuscript. In cases where such approval is not required under institutional guidelines, authors must clearly justify the exemption and describe how ethical considerations were nevertheless addressed.

Transparency and Accountability
The International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Holistic Development reserves the right to request documentation of ethical approval or informed consent during the review process. Manuscripts that do not comply with ethical standards—such as those lacking proper consent or involving unethical treatment of subjects—may be rejected, retracted, or corrected after publication.

Commitment to Ethical Scholarship
By adhering to these ethical principles, authors contribute to maintaining the academic integrity and scientific credibility of research published in IJPESHD. Upholding informed consent and ethical responsibility is essential to advancing high-quality research in physical education, sports science, and holistic human development.
