Comparative Study of Triglyceride and High-Density Lipoprotein Variables Between active and Inactive Males
Abstract
The aim of this study was to find out the difference in triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein variables between active and inactive males. Forty male subjects (20 active + 20 inactive) were selected from Punjabi University Patiala for this study. The age of the subjects was ranged between 45-70 years. Selected variables: triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein were measured by ‘Erba Chem- 5 V2 Plus Analyzer’ machine. Descriptive statistics and independent t-test was employed by ‘SPSS Version-23’. The results showed that there was a significant difference in triglyceride and insignificant difference in high-density lipoprotein variable between active and inactive males.
